RPC, Solid Waste Boards To Meet

The boards of directors for the Green Hills Regional Planning Commission and the North Missouri Solid Waste Management District will meet in the community room of the Farmers? Electric Cooperative in Chillicothe on Tuesday, Jan. 22. Dinner will be at 6:30 p.m. with the RPC meeting to follow at around 7 p.m. The solid waste board meeting will follow the RPC meeting.

Items on the RPC agenda include a report on the 604(b) water quality planning grant, the microenterprise lending project for the region, Community Development Block Grant program models and deadlines and discussion of the comprehensive economic development strategy.

The solid waste agenda includes discussion of ideas for discarded electronics projects, district grant program, legislative contacts on solid waste grant allocations and selection of a SWAB meeting delegate and alternate for district.
