Funeral services for Robert Miles, a native of Gallatin, were held Tuesday, June 8, at Poland Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Burial was at Packard Cemetery, Cameron.

Robert H. Miles, 70, Cameron, died June 6, 1999, at Cameron Community Hospital.
Mr. Miles was born in Gallatin and had lived in Cameron since 1972.
A retired electrician, Mr. Miles made a career of the military, serving a total of 20 years in the Army and the Army Air Corps.
In 1948, he married Helen Alumbaugh in Winston. She survives of the home.
Mr. Miles was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary and Mildred; and three brothers, Cline, Jimmy and Fred.
Other survivors include three sons, Michael, Glendale Heights, Ill., and Jeffrey and Charles, both of Cameron; a sister, Helen Hopper, Cameron; 10 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
