Arm Wrestling In Milan
Several Trenton arm wrestlers were in action last weekend at the Old Timer’s Reunion Arm Wrestling Championships in Milan. There were several age and weight divisions and athletes from ages four to 49 competed.

Summer Wrestling Program
The Trenton High School wrestling room will be open for wrestling this summer every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7:30-10 a.m., beginning on June 2 and running through July 30. The wrestling room will not be open on June 16-18 and July 2-11.

 Mack, Mounce Win Titles
The Trenton Kids Wrestling Club traveled to Marceline Saturday for the District 2 Kids Wrestling Tournament. A total of 15 Trenton wrestlers competed at the tournament and 10 of those 15 advanced to the Region A Tournament, which will be held Saturday at the Oak Park High School in Kansas City.

 Hill, Brinser Medal At State
Trenton didn’t come away from the MSHSAA Class 1 Wrestling Championships in Columbia with a state title, but the Bulldogs certainly didn’t leave empty handed. Sophomore Karson Hill (119) and senior Justin Brinser (189) each wrestled for third place on Saturday, bringing home state medals in the process.

Hill Third, Brinser Fourth At State
The THS wrestling team came home with two medals from the MSHSAA Class 1 Wrestling Tournament, which concluded on Saturday in Columbia.
Sophomore Karson Hill claimed a third-place medal in the 119-pound class while senior Justin Brinser was fourth at 189. Additional information will appear in Monday's Republican-Times as well as on the newspaper's website.
