Sunnyview Interim Named To Permanent Position
The interim administrator of Sunnyview Nursing Home and Apartments has taken the job on a permanent basis following action taken at the meeting of the Grundy County Nursing Home District Board of Directors during a meeting Monday night at which room rates were also increased.

David W. Peterie, a 75-year-old resident of Trenton, died on Monday, May 20, 2013 at his residence.

Green Hills Soccer Club Registration
The Green Hils Soccer Club is currently accepting registrations for the fall 2013 season. Individuals may visit the club’s website at www.greenhillssoccerclub.com to find a registration form.
Forms will be accepted through June 15 and soccer teams will be assigned in August. For more information, persons may visit the above website.

Brooke Parton from Truman High School in Independence became the newest Lady Pirate this week, signing a national letter of intent to join the North Central Missouri College women’s basketball program.
