QB Club Golf Tournament

The Trenton Quarterback Club is hosting a golf tournament on Saturday, Aug. 16 at the Riverside Country Club in Trenton. The tournament, dubbed the “Quarterback Scramble,” will be a four-person scramble event and begins with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m.
Entry fees for the tournament are $50 per person, $200 for a team and co-ed teams are welcome. The entry fee includes 18 holes, a registration gift, BBQ lunch

THS Girls Golf Practice To Begin

Trenton High School girls’ golf practice will begin on Monday, Aug. 4 at the Riverside Country Club in Trenton. The first practice will begin at 9 a.m.
Any girl entering grades 9 to 12 at Trenton High School is eligible to play. Students will need to bring their own clubs and must have a completed physical form with them or on file at the high school office to participate.

RCC Men’s League Week 14

The Riverside Country Club Men’s Golf League was back in action on Wednesday night, competing in the 14th week of action.

Trio From Lawson, Bethany Win Tourney

The annual Coca-Cola Classic Golf Tournament was held Saturday and Sunday at the Riverside Country Club in Trenton. The 52-team field was paced by the trio of Scott Harrold, Brad Smith and Mike Littrell. Harrold and Smith of Lawson, and Littrell of Bethany carded a score of 105 to win the tournament title. Nate Swann, second from the right, has been participating in the Northwest Missouri Junior Golf Tournament Series this summer. In four tournaments so far in the 14-15-year-old age group, Swann has finished second at Cameron, fourth at Maryville, fourth at Platte City and tied for first at the St. Joseph Country Club.
