THS JV Golfers Finish Second At Macon

The Trenton High School junior varsity golf team traveled to Macon on Monday for the rain-shortened Macon Junior Varsity Golf Tournament. Trenton carded a team score of 195, good for second in the 11-team field.

Jennings Nearly Sets Record

Former Trenton Lady Bulldog Hadley Jennings nearly set a Drake University record on Monday, firing a second round score of 70 at the Missouri Valley Conference Championship at Panther Creek Golf Club in Springfield, IL Monday. The mark was just one stroke off the lowest round ever totaled by a Drake women’s golfer, which was recorded by Olivia Lansing, who carded a 69 in 2009.

Bulldogs Secure Second-Place Showing

The Trenton High School golf team was in action on Wednesday, traveling to compete in the Cameron Invitational. The Bulldogs finished runner up in a 14-team field at the tournament held at the Cameron Veterans Memorial Golf Course.

The Trenton High School boys’ golf team got its season under way on Thursday on a soggy day at Tiffany Greens in Kansas City. RCC Men’s League Sign-Ups

The Riverside Country Club is now taking sign-ups from individuals who will be paid members of the club to join the 2014 RCC Men’s Golf League. Sign-up forms must be completed and turned in to Dewayne Slater along with a $45 fee by Wednesday, April 16 at 5 p.m.

Jennings Leads Drake At Classic

Former Trenton Lady Bulldogs Hadley Jennings paced the Drake University women’s golf team at the Islander Classic in Corpus Christi, TX earlier this week. Jennings finished the event 33rd overall, shooting a score of 234.
Jennings’ mark was the lowest on the Drake team, which finished 15th overall with a team score of 990. Jennings and Drake will be back in action on March 16 as the Lady Bulldogs begin
