Scottish Golfer Coming To NCMC

North Central Missouri College’s men’s golf team added a little firepower on Thursday, signing Jamie Connelly of Carnoustie, Scotland. Connelly comes to the Pirates in time to join the team for its inaugural season this spring.

Conference Titles Highlighted 2016

The year 2016 will be remembered for a lot of things. In Trenton, however, it will be remembered as the year the Bulldogs stormed into the Grand River Conference.
In the school’s first official year in a conference since 1990, the Bulldogs laid claim to the Grand River title in both softball and football. The softball team ran a 7-0 record within the conference’s East Division before topping West Division

Swann Inks LOI; Will Join NCMC Pirates

Golf, Volleyball Squads Wrap Seasons

The Trenton High School girls’ golf and volleyball teams wrapped up their 2016 campaigns with postseason banquets. Trenton’s girls’ golf squad celebrated its season Thursday night at the Riverside Country Club, while the volleyball team met last Thursday in the THS commons.

Hargrave Advances To State

Chillicothe’s Lexi Hargrave advanced to the MSHSAA Class 1 Golf Championships with an even 100 at the sectional tournament in Kirksville on Monday. The score was good for 17th individually at the tournament.
Hargrave is the daughter of Rob Hargrave, a former Trenton resident who qualified for the boys’ state tournament in 1991 for Trenton High School. Lexi is also the granddaughter of former Trenton residents Jim and Sara Hargrave.
