QB Scramble Golf Tournament

The annual Trenton Quarterback Club Scramble Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, Aug. 20 at the Riverside Country Club. The four-person scramble-style tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m.
The entry fee for each team is $200 and the tournament is limited to the first 20 teams. Co-ed teams are welcome. Carts are available for rent at $40 each. Mulligans will be available for purchase as

Several Trenton youth golfers were in Chillicothe Tuesday for the Chillicothe Country Club Youth Golf Tournament. Local placewinners at the tournament included, from left, Graeme Sager, second place in the 6-7-year-old division; Julian Hawkins, first place in the 6-7-year-old division; and Kiefer Tolson, third place in the 10-11-year-old division.

RCC Men’s League Results

The Riverside Country Club Men’s League was in action on Wednesday night, competing in scramble play to close out the 12-week season. 2BRL, the Figglets and Team One all had big nights to close out the year, tallying nine points each to lead the field.
The nine points gained turned out to be big for 2BRL, which surged ahead to claim first place in the team standings with 68.5 total

Swann Hits Hole-in-One

Trenton High School standout golfer Nate Swann hit his first career hole-in-one Monday, acing the sixth hole at the Riverside Country Club in Trenton.
Swann used a nine iron to hit the ace, which was witnessed by Brayden Herring. Swann will be a senior at Trenton High School this fall.

One Stroke Separates Top Two Teams At Tournament

The 31st annual Coca-Cola Classic Golf Tournament was held over the weekend at the Riverside Country Club in Trenton. The trio of Jeremy Arnold, Daniel Cordray and Andy Herington placed first, completing the two-day scramble-style tournament with a team score of 111. That mark bested the runner-up team of Derek Thorne, Evan Fries and Chad Richman by a single stroke after the latter posted a 36-hole score of 112. Full

RCC Men’s League Results

The Riverside Country Club Men’s League returned to action on Wednesday night with Steve Perry posting the low score on the night with a 35. Russ Wade followed with a 36 and Bill Fries and Ron Hurst each carded scores of 38.
Perry had the low score after handicaps as well, ending up with a 30. Hurst had a 31 and Fries, Bob Gass and Rob Deaver all had marks

The Riverside Country Club Men’s League returned to action on Wednesday night with Russ Wade, Ryan Wade and Scott Wilson all posting scores of 37 to tie for top honors on the night.

The fifth annual North Central Missouri College Foundation Golf Tournament will be held at the Green Hills Golf Course in Chillicothe on Friday, Sept. 2. The event is scheduled to tee off at 10 a.m.
