Princeton Chamber Meets

The Princeton Chamber of Commerce met on March 19 with nine members and one guest present.
Donna Herdrich presided at the meeting, during which time final plans were made for the soup and dessert cookoff. The event was held on March 20.

Music Program At Chillicothe

Integrated Pest Management Workshop Planned

University of Missouri Extension will be holding an Integrated Pest Management workshop and update at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at the North Missouri Produce Auction in Jamesport.

R-5 Preschool, Kindergarten Screening and Enrollment

The Grundy R-5 School District will be conducting its preschool and kindergarten screenings, along with kindergarten enrollment, on Friday, March 28 by appointment.
Screening and enrollment will take place from 8 to 11 a.m. and from noon to 3 p.m. at the Galt Christian Church. Screenings will be conducted on children ages 4 and 5. Children must turn 5 by July 31 to be eligible for kindergarten. Snacks will be

Vietnam Veterans Moving Wall Coming To Gallatin

The Frazier Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 2172 of Gallatin and the citizens of Gallatin will host the Vietnam Veterans Memorial “Moving Wall” from Aug. 21-25 in Dockery Park.
The Moving Wall is one of three replicas of the original monument that travels the USA in memory of those who served during the Vietnam Conflict. There are 58,248 names listed on the memorials, including 1,647 that are still unaccounted
