Bond Posted For Failing To Appear

A Milan man has posted bond after being arrested for failing to appear in court.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Robert A. Brandon, 33, was arrested after failing to appear in court on charges of first degree tampering and second degree property damage, both class B misdemeanors. He has posted $400 cash-only bond and is scheduled to appear in court May 26.

Two Arrested In Polk County

Two Trenton men have been arrested in Polk County after failing to appear in court in Grundy County.
Happy E. Sharp, 40, failed to appear in court on charges of second degree domestic assault and operating a vehicle on the highway without a valid license (third and subsequent offense). He is being held on bonds totaling $16,000 cash-only.
Also arrested was Jarred Kelsall, 20, who failed to appear in court

Two Charged In Meth Case

Two Trenton residents are being held on cash bond after being arrested for possessing a controlled substance.
Ashley Yardley, 21, and Ryan Trombley, 30, are both facing class C felonies of possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana. Both are accused of possessing methamphetamine on May 15 and are both being held in the Grundy County Detention Center, with court appearances scheduled for May 26.

Two Trenton men are being held in the Grundy County Detention Center after being arrested for violating the terms of their probation.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, 25-year-old Mitchell D. Knapp and 22-year-old Miles D. Knapp are both being held on $15,000 cash-only bond after their arrest. Cash Bond For Woman Who Failed To Appear

Cash bond was set for a Trenton woman who failed to appear in court.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Michelle M. Harding-Poortinga, 32, was arrested for failing to appear in court on two felony counts of passing bad checks. Bond was set at $15,000 cash-only and she remains in custody in the Grundy County Detention Center. She is scheduled to appear in court May 12.

A Trenton man has been arrested for stealing an all-terrain vehicle.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Shawn M. Yuille, 21, is charged with stealing a motor vehicle, a class C felony. He is accused of appropriating a 2004 Honda TRX 450R all-terrain vehicle, owned by Jonathan McAtee, on April 15.
