A Galt man was arrested Tuesday while appearing in court on an unrelated charge.

Man Arrested For Violating Protection Order

A Trenton man has been arrested after violating a protection order for an adult.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, James I. Lewellen, 55, was arrested Monday for violating a court order of protection for an adult at 1001 Laclede St. The incident allegedly occurred on Oct. 8. He is being held in the Grundy County Detention Center on $2,500 cash-only bond and is scheduled to appear in court

Check Charge Leads To Arrest

A Trenton woman has posted bond after being arrested for passing bad checks.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Christina D. Airey, 47, has posted $500 cash-only bond after being arrested on the class C felony. She is accused of writing a $9.80 check to TNT on July 11 on closed account. She is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 8.

Two Trenton residents are being held on cash bond in connection with drug charges, with one woman charged with distributing drugs near Trenton High School.

Wynne is charged with a class A felony of distribution of a controlled substance and a class B felony of distribution/delivery/manufacture of a controlled substance. Area Man Posts Cash Bond

An area man has posted bond after being arrested for failing to appear in court.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Justin N. Perkuhn, a 30-year-old Princeton resident, was arrested for failing to appear in court on a charge of driving while revoked or suspended. He has posted $300 cash-only bond and is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 25.

Four Local Men Are Arrested

Four area men were served arrest warrants over the weekend, including one who was already incarcerated in the Grundy County Detention Center.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, James L. Houk, 44, Princeton, has been charged with second degree burglary, a class C felony. Houk, who has been charged as a persistent offender, is accused of entering a building located at 78 N.E. 115th St., owned by Coon Manufacturing

Man Is Returned To Prison

A Trenton man will be returned to the Missouri Department of Corrections after violating the terms of his parole.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, 28-year-old Arron F. Waldrep will be returned to the DOC for violating the terms of his parole on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance.
