Two Scheduled To Appear In Court

Two persons have been arrested, one for violating her probation and one for failing to appear in court.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Rebecca J. McCree, 30, was arrested for violating her probation on original charges of possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence in a felony prosecution. She is being held in the Grundy County Detention Center on $15,000 cash-only bond and is scheduled

Probation Violation Results In Arrest

A probation violation has resulted in an Independence man being arrested.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Shawn C. Simon, 26, was arrested for violating the terms of his probation on charges of domestic assault, assault of a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest. His bond is $400 cash-only and he is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 28.

Cash-Only Bond Set For Trenton Man

Cash-only bond was set for a Trenton man who failed to obey a judge’s order.
Robert Ray Burtch, 30, Trenton, was arrested Tuesday in court on a charge of failing to obey a judge’s order on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance.
Bond was set at $10,000 cash only for Burtch, who will be back in court on Oct. 28.

Charges of felony child abuse have been filed against a Trenton man.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Larry J. Ingraham, 59, has been charged with abuse of a child, a class C felony, in connection with an incident in which he allegedly knowingly inflicted cruel and inhuman punishment upon a child less than 17 years old by grabbing her neck and biting it, causing bruising. Three Are Facing Charges

Charges of endangering the welfare of a child are facing a Trenton woman, while a Chillicothe woman has been arrested for failing to appear in court and an area man faces a trespassing charge.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Misty Riddle, a 27-year-old Trenton resident, has been charged with the class A misdemeanor and is accused of recklessly failing and refusing to exercise reasonable diligence in the care

Check Charge Facing Local Woman

A Trenton woman has posted bond after being arrested for passing bad checks.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Penny Wolf is charged with two misdemeanor counts of passing bad checks, accused of writing a check to Hy-Vee on Jan. 4, 2013 for $132.56 and to Amoco on Jan. 6, 2014 for $60. She has posted $750 cash-only bond and is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 14.
