Man Arrested In 2007 Cases

A former Trenton resident who has been in the Texas Department of Corrections is being held in the Grundy County Detention Center, charged in cases from 2007.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Rodney W. Cranor, 46, is charged with felony forgery, felony passing bad checks and misdemeanor passing bad checks. On the class C felony of forgery, Cranor is accused of forging a check to Pamida for $646.34,

Trenton Man Fails To Appear In Court

A Trenton man is being held on cash bond after being arrested for failing to appear in court.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Tyler C. Ward, 23, is being held on $15,000 cash-only bond after failing to appear in court Thursday on an original charge of first degree tampering with a motor vehicle. Ward is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 13.

Cash Bond Set For Local Woman

Cash bond has been set for a Trenton woman who is being held in the Grundy County Detention Center.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Holliann Norton of Trenton is being held on $300 cash-only bond after she failed to appear in court or pay on charges of peace disturbance and third degree domestic assault. She is scheduled to be back in court on Sept. 27.

Misdemeanor Check Charges Facing Man

Charges of misdemeanor passing bad checks are facing a Trenton man.
The charges, according to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, are facing 48-year-old Anthony Patti, who is accused of writing three checks, knowing they would not be paid. Two Spickard residents are being held in the Grundy County Detention Center after being arrested for possessing methamphetamine, a schedule II controlled substance.

Charges of forgery and conspiracy are facing two Trenton women, with two other persons being arrested for failing to appear in court.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Monica L. Heumader, 24, Trenton, is charged with a class D felony of conspiracy to commit the offense of stealing of any firearm. She is accused of conspiring with Devin Pierce to steal a Taurus Judge pistol owned by Debbie Hawman.

Several persons were arrested over the weekend, including a Trenton man who is alleged to have driven while intoxicated after having two previous DWI convictions.
