A Trenton woman is in the Grundy County Detention Center, charged with second degree domestic assault.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, 25-year-old Janaye Trombley was arrested by the Trenton Police Department and is accused of attempting to cause serious physical injury to a male household member by use of a deadly weapon. Two In Custody For Failing To Appear

Two persons are in custody after failing to appear in court on unrelated charges.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Michelle M. Harding-Poortinga, 31, Trenton, was arrested Monday by the Trenton Police Department for failing to appear in court on charges of passing bad checks. She is being held on $15,000 cash-only bond and is scheduled to appear in court May 15.

Cash Bond Set For Kearney Man

Cash bond has been set for a Kearney man who failed to appear in court.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, 23-year-old Joshua Rosemann is being held on $500 cash-only bond after being arrested for failing to appear in court on a charge of non-support. He is scheduled to appear in court April 22.

Texas Man Returned To Grundy County

A Texas man has been returned to Grundy County after failing to appear in court on a charge of non-support.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Jonathan C. Wood, 48, San Antonio, was returned to Missouri on Tuesday. He is being held on $15,000 cash-only bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.

Violation Leads To Woman’s Arrest

A Trenton woman is being held on cash bond after being arrested for violating the terms of her probation.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, 34-year-old Heather Marshall is being held on $15,000 cash-only bond after violating the terms of her probation on original charges of stealing and forgery. She is scheduled to appear in court April 17.

One More Charged In Burglary

The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of two persons, including one who has been implicated in a recent burglary at Galt.
According to the sheriff’s office, Machelle L. Dowell, 28, Galt, is charged with conspiracy to commit first degree burglary, a class C felony, in connection with an incident in which she allegedly agreed with Robert Brandon and Jeremiah Cagle to enter a building at 403 N.

Man Held On Bond In Burglary, Tampering

A  Trenton man is being held on bond after being arrested on charges of first degree burglary and tampering with a motor vehicle, both felonies.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Robert A. Brandon, 32, is accused of knowingly entering unlawfully a building owned by Carren McKay and located at 403 N. Main St., in Galt, for the purpose of committing assault. That incident allegedly occurred on April 9.

According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, former Trenton resident April D. Owings, 33, was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance stemming from an October 2013 incident in which she allegedly possessed Vicodin, a schedule II controlled substance.
