Police Called To Non-Injury Accident

The Trenton Police Department was called to a non-injury accident Wednesday at the intersection of Main Street and Crowder Road.
According to Lt. Rex Ross’ accident report, the mishap occurred when a car driven by Tracy N. Elder of Trenton was westbound on Crowder Road and stopped at the three-way stop intersection. Ms. Elder proceeded through the stop intersection and collided with a sport utility vehicle driven by Julie A.

The Trenton Police Department investigated an accident recently on Lincoln Street.
According to Det. Jerry Smith’s report, the mishap occurred when a sport utility vehicle driven by Sonja J. Child Death Investigation

The Trenton Police Department is investigating the death of an infant early this morning on Rural Street.
According to information provided by Chief Tommy Wright, officers were dispatched to a home in the 900 block of Rural Street in reference to an unresponsive infant. Despite attempts to provide aid to the child by the family, police officers and paramedics, the child died at Wright Memorial Hospital shortly after arrival. While

A Trenton man is being held on $50,000 cash-only bond after slicing the neck of another man.

Selective Traffic Enforcement

Streets being monitored by the Trenton Police Department this week as part of the Selective Traffic Enforcement include DeBolt Street, Kitty Street and Harris Avenue.

Trenton Youth Returned Home

A 15-year-old Trenton youth reported as a runaway to the Trenton Police Department on Thursday afternoon, was found in Mercer County a few hours later and has since returned home with her mother.
