Police Investigate Two Accidents

The Trenton Police Department responded to two accidents on Thursday.
The first occurred at the intersection of Oklahoma Avenue and 16th Street around 11 a.m. According to the police report filed by Sgt. Jeb Walker, vehicles driven by Kenneth Anderson of Trenton and Karen Spencer of Trenton were southbound on Oklahoma Avenue, following a horse and buggy. Man Held For Assaulting Officer

A Trenton man is being held on cash bond after allegedly assaulting a police officer.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, 36-year-old Gregory D. Baecht is charged with third degree assault of a law enforcement officer. He is accused of pushing and shoving Trenton Police Officer Randy Burks on Dec. 13. His bond has been set at $4,000 cash-only and he is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 12.

Selective Traffic Enforcement For Week of Dec. 21, 2015

Police Seek Suspect In Incident With Child

The Trenton Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a subject who picked up a student near a bus stop near the Grundy County-Jewett Norris Library this morning.

Two Vehicles In Saturday Accident

Two vehicles collided on Saturday afternoon on 10th Street at Bulldog Avenue.
According to Trenton Police Officer Jennifer Plummer’s report, a vehicle driven by Trevor Ratliff of Trenton had stopped at the stop sign coming out of Eastside Park and then turned right, striking an eastbound vehicle on 10th Street driven by Tamara Woodward of Trenton. Police Investigate Accidents

The Trenton Police Department investigated three recent accidents, including one resulting in a ticket and two involving parked vehicles.
According to Trenton Police Officer Kris Schmidt’s report, an accident occurred around noon on Saturday when a car driven by Lynda Snuffer of Trenton backed from her driveway on Seventh Street, near Rural Street and struck a truck driven by Timothy J. Hampton of Laredo, which was eastbound on Seventh Street.
