Man Who Failed To Pay Is Arrested

A man who failed to pay on two traffic tickets is being held on cash-only bond at the Grundy County Detention Center.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, 40-year-old Peter E. Thrun of Trenton failed to pay $68.50 owed on each of two convictions for failing to register an out-of-state vehicle or trailer in Missouri when required, class B misdemeanors. He is being held on bonds totaling $200 cash-only

Ticket Issued Following Mishap At Cedar & Crowder

One person was ticketed in a non-injury accident investigated Aug. 22 near the intersection of Cedar Street and Crowder Road.

Spickard Woman Held On Cash Bond

A Spickard woman is being held on cash bond after being arrested for failing to appear in court on a charge of conspiracy to commit second degree burglary.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, 29-year-old Machelle Dowell was arrested at the Chillicothe Correctional Center on the charge, which is a class C felony. She is being held on $15,000 cash-only bond and was scheduled to be in court today.

Two Are Arrested Over The Weekend

Two area men were arrested over the weekend, with one charged in a domestic assault case and another facing a conspiracy charge.

Man Arrested On Three Warrants

Three warrants for failing to appear in court have been served on a Kansas City, KS man who has been returned to Grundy County.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Shannon K. Bardwell, 44, formerly of Trenton, was arrested in Henry County on warrants for failing to appear in court on charges of felony non-support, failing to maintain financial responsibility for a vehicle and not wearing a seat belt.

Browning Man Posts Bond

A Browning man posted $150 cash-only bond after being arrested for failing to appear in court.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, 56-year-old Gerald D. Havens failed to appear in court on an original charge of having weight on an axle group that exceeded the limit for the highway. He is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 26.
