Two Post Bond, One Still Held In GCDC

Three persons have been arrested in Grundy County, with two having posted bond and one being held in the Grundy County Detention Center.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Joann Davis, 23, Trenton, was arrested on two class A misdemeanor charges of passing bad checks. She is accused of writing checks to Amoco, one on Dec. 13, 2013 and one on Jan. 13, 2014, for $65.93 and $35 respectively,

Vehicles Damaged In Two Mishaps

Two vehicles collided while one was backing from a driveway, with one driver ticketed in the mishap.
According to Trenton Police Officer Randy Burks’ accident report, the mishap occurred Tuesday when a truck driven by Westley Eugene Hutson of Trenton was southbound on Pleasant Plain and a car driven by Duane L. Barnes, also of Trenton, failed to see his vehicle approaching and backed from a driveway at 2308 Pleasant

Man Returned To Face Drug, Weapons Charges

A Trenton man is being returned to Grundy County from the Missouri Department of Corrections to face charges of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of certain weapons.

No Injuries In Mishap at Princeton Road and East 17th Street

No one was injured in an accident investigated Monday at the intersection of Princeton Road and 17th Street.
According to Trenton Police Officer Randy Burks’ accident report, the mishap occurred when a sport utility vehicle driven by Lenora B. McDonald was eastbound on 17th Street and made a turn onto Princeton Road. She went across the intersection with Oak Street and cut the corner too sharp, striking the driver’s side

Man Posts Bond On Check Charge

A Trenton woman has posted $600 cash bond after being arrested for a misdemeanor charge of passing bad checks.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Janet A. Ryall, 60, is accused of writing a check to TNT Convenience Store on Jan. 7 for $34.52. She is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 28.

Man Posts $50 Cash Bond

A Trenton man has posted $50 cash bond after being arrested for failing to appear in court.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, 27-year-old Michael A. Stantruff failed to appear in court on a charge of not wearing a seat belt. He is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 28.

Mishaps Are Investigated By Local Police

A City of Trenton vehicle was involved in a mishap Tuesday that damaged on a car on the Barnes Baker Automotive Group lot on Oklahoma Avenue.
