Jamesport Teen Charged With Drug Possession

A Jamesport teenager has been charged with possessing drugs and drug paraphernalia.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, 17-year-old Breanna T. Clevenger has been charged with the class C felony of possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana, a class C felony, and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, a class D felony. Two Facing Charges In Trenton

Two persons have been arrested, including one charged with felony sexual abuse.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Isaac J. Wattenbarger, 19, of Trenton has been charged with the class C felony of first degree sexual abuse. He is accused of knowingly subjecting a female to sexual contact by the use of forcible compulsion. He is being held on $25,000 cash-only bond and is scheduled to make a court

Three Non-Injury Accidents Are Investigated

Three non-injury accidents were investigated recently by the Trenton Police Depart-ment, including a mishap on East Ninth Street, near Harris Avenue.
According to Trenton Police Det. Jerry Smith’s report, the accident occurred when a pickup truck driven by Daniel R. Clark of Parkville was eastbound on Ninth Street, travelling behind a semi pulling a large dumpbed trailer owned by Missouri Mobile Concrete of Trenton and driven by Mark D. Huff

July 25: firefighters responded to an early-morning motor vehicle accident involving a passenger vehicle and a semi on the east side of the Ninth Street Bridge. Firefighters used extrication equipment to gain access to the car and EMS transported one person from the scene.

Two Arrested On County Warrants

Two persons were arrested on Grundy County warrants Thursday.
Shelby Smith, 27, Lancaster and Camry Holsted, 22, Trenton, will both face charges in court on Tuesday in Trenton.
Smith was arrested on a charge of passing a bad check in Ralls County on a Grundy County warrant. According to the Grundy County Sherriff’s Office, Smith allegedly passed a check for $98.25 to Hy-Vee on June 5, 2008. The check was
