Utica Man Arrested On Check Charge

A Utica man accused of writing a check on a non-existent account has been arrested by the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the sheriff’s office, 23-year-old Justin Hullinger is charged with the class C felony of passing bad checks, accused of writing a $50 check to Amoco on a non-existent account on Oct. 12. 2013. He has posted $500 cash-only bond and is scheduled to appear in court Sept.

Two local men were arrested over the weekend, including one who failed to appear in court and one who violated the terms of his probation.

A Trenton man is being held on $50,000 cash-only bond after slicing the neck of another man.

Camdenton Woman In County Jail

A Camdenton woman is being held in the Grundy County Detention Center after being arrested in Dallas County.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, 32-year-old Michelle Donathan has been arrested for failing to appear in court on an original charge of stealing. She is being held on $2,500 cash-only bond and is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 23.

Several Arrested, With Three Brought From DOC

Three persons have been brought from the Missouri Department of Corrections to Grundy County to face charges here, while one other person has been arrested for passing bad checks and another is in custody for violating his probation.

Trenton brothers were charged with several offenses after allegedly assaulting another Trenton man over the weekend.

Aug. 24: animal abuse was reported at a west residence.
Aug. 25: officers were called to an assault at a north residence and investigated five nuisance violations in the east part of town.
