Commissioners Discuss Cemetery, Insurance

The Grundy County Commission met Tuesday, discussing a rural cemetery and vision insurance.
Commissioners met with Darren Breitenbucher concerning the Stepp Cemetery on NE 48th Ave., which is located within land owned by the Breitenbucher family. There is work that needs to be done to the cemetery, but only around $200 per year (the interest on an account for the cemetery) can be spent on it. The commission is looking

County Commission Agenda For 9-27-16

The Grundy County Commission will meet in regular session Tuesday at the courthouse.
Items on the announced agenda include a mandatory pre-bid meeting for courtroom renovations at 8 a.m., followed by a meeting with Larry Bunnell Insurance to discuss a health and vision insurance quote. At 10 a.m. the commission will meet with Ambulance Director Steve Tracy. It has also been announced that the courthouse will close at 3 p.m.
