City Council Agenda For 5-23-16

The Trenton City Council will meet in regular session at 7 p.m. Monday at city hall.

Commission Plans For Long Day

The Grundy County Commission will meet in regular session Tuesday at the courthouse.
The day will begin with an 8 a.m. meeting with George Doolittle to discuss an easement on N.W. 5th Ave., following by the regular weekly meeting with Ambulance Director Steve Tracy. The commission will spend the afternoon participating in an LEPC tabletop exercise at the Grundy County Health Department, with a conference call scheduled for Presiding Commissioner

Resolution Signed On Law Enforcement Center Bonds

The Grundy County Commissioners have approved a resolution to advance refund the Series 2007 Jail Lease Certificates of Participation.
The county is expected to achieve a net reduction of future interest expense of $822,277, according to the proposal from its Municipal Bond Underwriter, L.J. Hart & Company of St. Louis.
