Building, Nuisance Board To Meet

The Building and Nuisance Board of the Trenton City Council will meet at 6 p.m. on Monday at city hall.

Chamber Food Drive Is Thursday

The Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual summer food drive this Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m.
Volunteers will be located just outside the doors at both Hy-Vee and Save-A-Lot to collect donated food and other non-perishable items. The chamber is asking the public to help fill the back of a pick-up with items to take back to the Grundy County Community Food Pantry to help as

Chamber Summer Food Drive

The Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce will conduct its annual summer food drive on Thursday, June 26 in Trenton.
Volunteers will be in the parking lots of the Hy-Vee Food Store and Save-A-Lot from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., accepting donations of non-perishable food items. Items collected will then be given to the Community Food Pantry for distribution to those in need.

Business After Hours Planned

The Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a Business After Hours event on Thursday, May 1.
The event will be held in the Sugg Room of the Ketcham Community Center on the North Central Missouri College campus from 5 to 7 p.m. Central Methodist University is the host.

Chamber Luncheon On Wednesday

The Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its quarterly luncheon on Wednesday in the KCP&L community room.
Joe Box, plant manager at ConAgra Foods, will be the speaker. The public is welcome to attend. The cost is $10 for chamber members and $11 for non-members.

Chamber Busy With Upcoming Activities

The Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring several upcoming activities involving the community and open to the public.
Today, the chamber hosted a ribbon cutting as part of the open house for the newly-constructed addition to the Sunnyview Apartments. Tours of the new apartments were held as part of the open house activities.
On Friday, the chamber is sponsoring its first “Father-Daughter Dance” at the First Christian Church fellowship

Chamber Coffee On April 25

Farmers Bank of Northern Missouri will host the Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce coffee on Friday, April 25.
Serving begins at 8 a.m. and will include coffee and doughnuts from the Modena Variety Store.

Community Garage Sales Are April 26

The Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce will again sponsor its annual community garage sales on Saturday, April 26.

Community Pride Week

The Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce will again sponsor Community Pride Week in Trenton.
This year’s dates are April 28-May 3. The community is encouraged to clean up around their homes and neighborhoods during that week. Activities such as picking up trash, mowing lawns, picking weeds and planting flowers can be accomplished during this week.
