THS Band Does Well At Marching Festival

Photo Courtesy of Tim Gilham The Trenton High School Golden Bulldog Marching Band earned three trophies during Saturday’s Central Methodist University band competition in Fayette. The band placed fourth in the field show, third in parade and third in the indoor drumline contest. Band Director Tim Gilham called it “a good day” for the group and said there has been “substantial growth as musicians and performers this year.” Following the competition, several members of the band remained to watch a former THS Band member and drum major, Breilly Roy, perform in the production of “Our Town.” Pictured are, from left, Drum Major Ella Leininger, Colorguard Captain, Mickenzey Willey and Drum Major Jacob Davis.
