Former Resident Receives MPA Award

Submitted Photo Former Trenton resident Tad Bartimus, left, was among journalists inducted into the Missouri Press Association Hall of Fame during ceremonies this past weekend in Branson. Ms. Bartimus was born and spent a portion of her childhood in Trenton before moving to Belton. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism and was a writer for several years with The Associated Press. She and her husband, Dean Wariner, reside in Hana, HI. Presenting the award to Ms. Bartimus was MPA President Dennis Warden.
