WMH Auxiliary Makes Donation

Submitted Photo The Wright Memorial Hospital Auxiliary has made a $2,000 contribution for the purchase of Hawk Grips for the WMH physical therapy department. Hawk Grips are tools used by physical and occupational therapists to provide instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization. These tools will help therapists detect and treat a large variety of soft-tissue injuries. Hawk Grips are used to break up abnormal thickening in scar tissue and initiate the healing process. Some common diagnoses that may benefit from the tools are tennis elbow, carpal tunnel, rotator cuff tear, plantar fasciitis and many more.
