CAPNCM Honors Browning Mayor

Submitted Photo Browning Mayor Lawrence Allen, left, received the Community Action Partnership of North Central Missouri’s Outstanding Service to Community Action Award during the 2016 Missouri CAN Conference. The award is presented to individuals, organizations and businesses that have contributed to community action’s mission of helping people and changing lives. Allen has been a board member of CAPNCM for the last three and one-half years, serving as a public elected official from Linn County. He also serves as second vice chairman of the board, a position he has held for three years. Pictured with Allen is Aaron Franklin, who is the executive director of CAPNCM, based in Trenton.
