VFW Scholarship To Trenton Woman

Photo Courtesy of North Central Missouri College  North Central Missouri College student Mary Cabral of Trenton is this fall’s recipient of a Joseph L. Norton VFW Post 919 of Trenton scholarship. Ms. Cabral, a veteran separated from the Army, is attending NCMC full-time working towards obtaining her associate of arts degree. She was stationed in Baumholder, Germany from 1989 to 1992 at the 30th Field Hospital, where she was a medical specialist/EMT and worked in the emergency room and on an ambulance crew. She is pursuing a degree in teaching. Active duty military members, reservists and honorably discharged veterans are given preference for VFW scholarships, which are valued at $250 per semester and can be renewed.
