National TRiO Day is a day of service focusing on the nation’s attention to the needs of TRiO students who aspire to improve their lives through education and service. This year, SSS students displayed a “Helping Hand” of all of the community service/good deeds they have provided during college, including donations to go toward the Geyer Hall restoration fund. TRiO day activities concluded with a Zimbabwe cultural presentation and luncheon. “We have a great group of TRiO students on the NCMC campus,” said Marcie Cutsinger, TRiO Director. “TRiO Day provides an excellent opportunity to acknowledge the TRiO programs and the students it serves.”
