WMH Honors Employee Of The Year

Chanel Lovell, Registered Nurse II in maternity services at Wright Memorial Hospital, has been honored as Employee of the Year for 2015. CEO Gary Jordan presented the award to Ms. Lovell. Other nominees were 2015 Employee of the Quarter winners: Albert Soriano, Elizabeth Lawinger and Jeanan Gott. The Employee of the Year Award honors an employee who provides exemplary service, going beyond the call of duty to support fellow employees or to comfort or assist patients and their families. In her nomination form, Ms. Lovell's co-workers said, “This employee is a leader in exemplifying teamwork and is always willing to help out in any department that she is needed”, “She doesn’t overlook any opportunity to help out a fellow co-worker and is an extremely valuable resource. She is confident in her work and provides quality care to each patient who walks through the doors of the hospital” and “She is a great mentor and is always striving to improve her work. She exceeds her job expectations and is a strong leader.” In recognition of the award, Ms. Lovell received her name on a wall plaque displayed in the hospital, parking space of her choice for a year, acknowledgement in the local media and hospital employee intranet, and she will be honored at the Saint Luke’s Health System annual awards banquet.
