Local Woman Earns Honors At Art Show

ceived honorable mention for her entry in the 42nd annual Membership Exhibition of Art at the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art in St. Joseph. Ms. Cook’s entry was a piece of stained glass, entitled “Entrapment,” and won honorable mention in the category of 2 Dimensional Mixed Media. Ms. Cook is a former teacher, having taught gifted education and art at Trenton and Princeton as well as in Colorado, Wyoming and Nebraska. She currently maintains a studio in the Princeton area, where she specializes in creative and original works of all types, in particular stained glass and painting. She also judges art and photography shoes as well as lectures on art for libraries and state education departments.
