Trenton FFA Participates In Safety Day

Submitted Photo   On Friday Oct. 16 the Trenton FFA volunteered with the University of Missouri Extension and local agencies to put on a safety program for kids in grades 3rd through 6th. There, the students learned the importance of fire safety, animal handling, seatbelt safety, stranger danger, ATV safety, gun safety, along with information on grain bin and electrical safety. Twelve Trenton FFA members helped lead groups from station to station, helped answer questions, and cooked and served hot dogs for all participants and volunteers.
