NCMC Hosts Baseball Alumni Events

Submitted Photo The North Central Missouri College baseball team hosted Alumni Day on Saturday. Several players from the past as well as former coach Bob Shields (1983-2000) participated in a luncheon and baseball game at Burleigh Grimes Field in Trenton. The Alumni Pirates, pictured above, picked up a 4-3 win over the current Pirates in an afternoon matchup. “It’s so great for current players to see our alumni talent,” North Central Head Coach Donnie Hillerman said. “It really gives them great pride in our past and an opportunity to see how the team has grown and changed. There are great people associated with NCMC baseball and the support only grows stronger.”
