WMH Honors Employee

Submitted Photo Elizabeth Lawinger, an occupational therapist at Wright Memorial Hospital, was honored as the hospital's Employee of the Quarter for third quarter 2015. Sam Walkup, director of Physician & Ancillary Services, presented the award to  her at a ceremony held in her honor on Sept. 9. The Employee of the Quarter Award recognizes an employee who provides exemplary service, going beyond the call of duty to support fellow employees or to comfort or assist patients and their families. In her nomination form, Ms. Lawinger's co-workers said, “Liz is a wonderful asset to Wright Memorial Hospital. She provides excellent services to all patients and with a positive and encouraging attitude. She is a team player and makes sure all patient concerns are addressed and resolved. Her focus is patient care and improving their conditions while achieving patient goals on a daily basis.” In recognition of the award, Ms. Lawinger received an Employee of the Quarter certificate, the parking space of her choice for three months, three eStore vouchers, a gift certificate to the hospital gift shop, her name posted on the Employee of the Quarter wall plaque and acknowledgement in the local media and hospital employee intranet.
