Blood Drive Reaches Goal

R-T Photo/Ronda Lickteig  Tom Eads was one of 60 area residents who did their good deed of the day on Monday and offered to give blood at the Community Blood Center blood drive held at the North 65 Center. While eight persons were deferred for medical reasons, those who gave through the apheresis machine count as two units, helping the drive to surpass its 56-unit goal by two units for a total of 58. Monday’s drive was sponsored by Hodge Presbyterian Church, with the next drive scheduled for Monday, Nov. 30.
