Women’s Shelter Awarded Tax Credits

The Green Hills Women’s Shelter has been awarded tax credits of $500,350, which will be used to help raise funds to build a new shelter building in Trenton.
The Missouri Department of Economic Development announced awarding of the funds, which will allow persons paying taxes in Missouri to receive a 70 percent tax credit for donations they make to the shelter project. According to shelter volunteer Cathie Smith, fundraising activities
