Chickens Sell At State Fair

Sierra Bruse of Princeton, who had the grand champion pen of chickens at the Missouri State Fair, sold those chickens during the “Sale of Champions” held on Saturday night, Aug. 22.
Miss Bruse’s broilers weighed an average of 6.8 pounds and sold for $2,600. Purchasing the chickens were Ed DeJaynes, in memory of Art DeJaynes, along with the Youth in Agriculture and hometown supporters.
