Program On Skookcum Dolls At Museum

Violet Steinhoff will present a free doll program at 3 p.m. on Sunday at the Grundy County Museum in the Baker School building.
Questions about collecting and displaying dolls will be addressed, however, the program will focus on Skookcum Dolls. These collectable armless dolls originated in the American West. Ranging from two inches to three feet in height, the dolls represented Native American people and were mostly sold at tourist
