Council Turns Down Hay Permit Changes

In a brief meeting of the Trenton City Council on Monday night, members defeated an ordinance that would have amended the city’s current rules regarding hay regulations, including a fee to purchase permits.
On a vote of 3-2, the council failed to garner enough votes to pass the ordinance, which would have allowed persons with property of at least five acres in size and use the property for agricultural purposes
