Legislators At HYPE Convention On Barton Ag Campus

Missouri legislators from across the state were part of the FFA-HYPE (Helping Youth Prepare for Excellence) convention at the NCMC Barton campus last week. The HYPE convention, sponsored by the Missouri Corn Growers Association, was for selected high school FFA leaders to gain knowledge and develop their leadership skills. The legislators gave a presentation on agriculture issues facing Missouri and provided a question and answer session as well as a roundtable to offer information or advice for the FFA participants. The legislators praised the group on their leadership and expressed the importance of agriculture involvement. Legislators in attendance (from left to right) were Rep. Nate Walker, Sen.
