HYPE Workshop At NCMC

Photo Courtesy of North Central Missouri College Thirty incoming high school seniors from across Missouri who are also  FFA members attended the the HYPE (Helping Youth Prepare for Excellence) Academy being held through today on the campus of North Central Missouri College. Former Trenton resident Hilary Holeman Black, pictured above, represented the Missouri Corn Producers and provided a workshop on social media as well as support during the academy. Other speakers included NCMC President Dr. Neil Nuttall and FFA State Secretary Keith Dietzschold. The participants were trained by MO State FFA Officers as well as past state FFA officers, agricultural educators and FFA state staff. Students learn how to advocate for agriculture, overcome obstacles and develop their communication and personal skills.
