Insulin Program Set

A program for patients using meal-time insulin only is planned on Thursday at Hy-Vee in Trenton.
Cindy Eivins, dietician, will present the program,”Insulin and Carbs: Finding the Right Balance.” Topics will include a review of carbohydrate counting, how to calculate, test and use insulin-to-carb ratio, how to use structured-testing tools and discussion of additional factors that affect blood sugar control.
The program will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Seating
