Council OKs Utility Rate Increase, Budgets

An increase in utility rates along with deficit budgets for Trenton Municipal Utilities and the city, were approved by members of the Trenton City Council during a meeting on Monday night at city hall.
TMU electric customers will see increases in their electric bills of 1 percent for residental, 1.5 percent for commercial and 7 percent for industrial, beginning with the May billing cycle. In addition, water rates will increase
