Newtown-Harris Hires New Superintendent

The Newtown-Harris Board of Education has hired Kim Johnson as its next superintendent.
During a meeting on Wednesday night, the board unanimously approved the hiring of Mrs. Johnson, who is currently working to finish her doctorate degree at William Woods College. She has 20 years of education experience, including eight years in administration, and has served as superintendent in the Milan C-2 School District. Her salary was set at $70,000.
