Water Disinfection Change

Trenton Municipal Utilities will be changing the method it uses to disinfect the drinking water system.
Utility Director Chad Davis said TMU is scheduled to start pumping water with the modified disinfectant to the water distribution system on Tuesday morning.
TMU will start using a disinfectant called chloramines, which is a commonly used method to disinfect drinking water systems. The changes have been approved by the Missouri Department of Natural
