Arrest Made For Checks Written On Non-Existent Account

Charges of writing a check on a non-existent account have been filed against a Trenton man.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, William O. Taul, 58, has been charged with the class C felony and is being held in custody on $500 cash-only bond. He is accused of writing a check to Amoco on May 26, 2013 for $87.18 on a non-existent account at First Bank of Missouri. He
