Council Approves City, TMU Budgets

The Trenton City Council this week approved budgets for the city and Trenton Municipal Utilities, which go into effect on May 1.
The city budget shows anticipated revenues of $2,839,501 while expenditures are listed at $3,053,436. However, with a transfer of road and bridge funds into the budget of $262,000, the city is anticipated to have a surplus in the budget of $48,065. This would leave an anticipated fund balance
