Bowe Facing Charges In Connection With July Murder

Charges have been filed against a Humphreys man in connection with the death of Trenton resident John Vencill last July and the assault of the victim’s son.
According to information provided by the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, James Bowe, 55, is being held on $500,000 cash-only bond. He is facing charges of first degree assault, abandonment of a corpse, tampering with physical evidence in a felony prosecution (two counts) and
