Bond Re-Financing Saving Money For R-9 School District

The Trenton R-9 Board of Education approved a resolution at its meeting on Tuesday night that would save the district nearly $430,000 in bond interest payments.
Joe Kinder of George K. Baum presented information concerning the refinancing of $3.95 million in bonds the district is using to pay off construction of the middle school and the Rissler Elementary School addition. The district originally issued $7.3 million in bonds in 1999
