Hunters Asked To “Share The Harvest”

The Grundy County Community Food Pantry is urging all deer hunters to consider participating in the Share the Harvest program to help those in need of food assistance.
According to Food Pantry Board Chairman Dennis Browning, the number of individuals requesting assistance is at an all-time high and meat protein is in short supply.
The cost of processing deer is provided by the Conservation Federation of Missouri and corporate sponsors.
