I Remember Trenton – Carnivals and Fairs

As a young boy, I always looked forward to August because that is when the fairgrounds would become more like our own Coney Island. The county fair and especially the associated carnival, was filled with great wonder and mystery with all those strangers in our town. They would come every summer to build and share their own community with us for a while.
