Spickard Approves Budget, Rate Hike

The Spickard City Council approved its 2013 budget as well as increases in water and sewer rates during a meeting held Tuesday evening at city hall.

The budget, which went into effect on April 1, shows anticipated revenues of $182,180, while expenditures are estimated at $196,450. The city has approximately $84,000 in funds that will be carried over to the new budget.
