Princeton Man Faces Check Charge

A Princeton man has posted bond after being arrested for passing bad checks.

According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Jonathon A. McAtee, 27, is accused of writing a check for $143.33 to T & L Auto Parts on Dec. 29, 2011, knowing it would not be paid. McAtee posted $2,500 cash-only bond and is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 22.
