Why We Hunt

Watch a Labrador retriever fidget and squirm excitedly as it’s being led to the marsh for a morning of waterfowl hunting and you understand a little bit better what goes on inside a human hunter as they take to the woods. We may not fidget, but hearing a spring turkey gobble or walking down a forest trail to a deer stand triggers an irrepressible excitement and pleasure
