Hurley, Hooyman Earn All-State Honor

Two Trenton Lady Bulldog softball players were awarded the highest state honor today as pitcher Scotlin Hurley and shortstop Maddie Hooyman, both seniors, were named to the Missouri All-State softball first team.

Hurley was a first team pick at pitcher after a banner year that saw her go 20-4 with a 0.66 ERA and 171 strikeouts. At the plate, Hurley had a .461 average with eight extra-base hits and 28
