Council OKs Ordinance; Discusses Ballfields

There was lots of discussion but little action taken by members of the Trenton City Council during their regular meeting on Monday night.

The council approved an ordinance, establishing penalties for violations committed in a construction zone and giving the chief of police and the city traffic engineer (the street department supervisor) authority to lower the speed limit in a construction zone. The vote was 7-1 with Mark Robinson opposed.
