Forgery Charges Facing Local Man

Forgery charges have been filed against a Trenton man, who has posted bond.

According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Jeremiah B. Cagle, 35, has been charged with forgery, a class C felony, in connection with an incident on Sept. 10 in which he signed a receipt for U.S. currency for Snappy’s Tavern. He allegedly signed it so that it purported to have been made by another. He has posted
