City Gets Farmer’s Market Grant

The city of Trenton has received a $30,000 grant to be used to help construct a facility to house a farmer’s market in the downtown area.

Community Planner Ralph Boots announced the grant during a meeting of the Economic Development Committee of the City Council on Wednesday afternoon. The USDA grant will help pay for a 36-foot by 40-foot structure to be located on the city parking lot on Washington Street
