Thompson Farm Work Provides Beef Breeding Information

Beef cow-herd owners can follow the numbers to produce higher quality calves worth more money at market time.

The University of Missouri rolled out “Quality Beef by the Numbers” program, Aug. 30, which allows producers of large or small herds to be paid prime premiums available from processors.
The quality beef program helps producers raise more calves that grade USDA Prime by using highly proven sires.
