I Remember Trenton – Water Made Trenton Go

When the town that you and I came to love was first established, the settlement was on a bluff overlooking the Thompson River bottomland. In fact, the first trace of a town was called Lomax Store, followed by the names of Moore’s Landing and Bluff Grove, and finally Trenton in 1841.

Like most pioneer towns, locations were picked that were close to good resources,
