Museum Exhibit Includes Information On 1922 Strike

A collection of newspaper articles describing numerous incidents occurring in Trenton during the 1922 railroad strike has been added to the railroad exhibit at the Grundy County Museum.

Ten U.S. marshals were called to assist local law enforcement personnel during the strike, which saw numerous assaults, a dynamite blast that injured three men and two men killed. One man was shot as he climbed onto an engine and a second fatality
