Heat Doesn’t Deter Fourth Of July Crowd

The weather was hot but the crowds were steady during the Independence Day activities on Wednesday at Eastside Park.

The Major Dale Stepp American Legion Post No. 31 of Trenton sponsored the event, which included opening ceremonies, a car show, a mud volleyball tournament, free watermelon, food vendors and music. The evening concluded with a fireworks show, sponsored by the Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce.
